Accessibility
Everyone in the district should be able to use this.
The site is built to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. If something doesn't work for you, tell us and we will fix it.
What's built in
Every page works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers; headings and landmarks are in order; text and background contrast meets AA; links are underlined or clearly marked; nothing flashes; and the "AA" button in the top bar makes all the text larger and remembers your choice on this device.
Plain language
We write the way a firefighter would explain it at your kitchen table. Where a form or a rule has to use an official term, we say what it means.
Photographs
Every photograph carries a written description, and new ones get one as they are added.
Tell us
If any part of this site is hard to use, call the station at 570-653-1261 or write to us, and say which page. We would rather hear it than not.
