Measles vaccine clinic at the station
With measles cases reported in Schuylkill County, the Pennsylvania Department of Health held a free MMR vaccine clinic at Station 13 on October 6, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Hegins Valley Fire-Rescue and the Mahantongo Fire Company held their sixth Sportsman Raffle in the Park at Hegins Park. Gates and food at 3 p.m., raffle at 5.

Four nights at Hegins Park. The parade stepped off Thursday, June 11 at 7 p.m., and Saturday ended with Fast Times at Shermer High and fireworks at 10 p.m. The company says the fireworks alone are more than a third of the carnival's cost.
